Missions

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost; 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen

- Matthew 28:19-20KJV

At HPCF, we don’t just give money to support local missions or those in other parts of the world. The mission isn’t something that happens in addition to other church ministries. Instead, everything we do deliberately supports our God-given command to reach the world with the gospel. So, when we talk about our mission, it truly is Christ’s mission that we continue to carry out here on Earth.

For us, being involved in the mission includes training up, sending out, and supporting local missionaries. We hope to reproduce the local church through church planting in other towns, cities, states, and countries and we continue to grow and learn. We encourage every one of our members to take part in God’s mission.

Below you will find a few of the different missionaries and their missions that we are invested in.

Good News to All People Ministry

In response to Christ’s calling, Christadaus went to a theological college to equip himself for the mission work. After his studies, he joined a church planting ministry in the remote villages in the states of: Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra and Orissa.

There they disciple believers; equip, encourage and support called ministers; and provide tools so that men and women will accomplish the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

The Foundation verse behind GAP Ministries is “…stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I have found none.” -Ezekiel 22:30b KJV

Shining Light Academy

Sanchez Mira, Philippines

Shining Light Academy began in 2011 providing grades 1 and 2 to 29 students. They began the school with a desire to provide quality education to the children in the Philippines and have proven that with every step of their journey. Within the first 6 months of operation, the SLAions (as the students are fondly called) became champions in the most prestigious math contest in the nation, the MTAP-DepEd Challenge. Since that time, the SLAions have won every contest, and have made history by becoming the first private school in Cagayn to win as Regional Champions. God continues to bless SLA as they continue to offer effective, quality and award-winning education to over 350 students K-12.

Recently SLA was able to garner Government Recognition for all its levels (kindergarten - elementary grade school - Jr/Sr high school) and most recently SLA was humbled to receive the MOST OUTSTANDING SCHOOL AWARD of Region 02.

Shining Light Academy is under the care and guidance of Joseph Samuel and his wife Vilma. The school was started with $40 and a passion to do as God directed him and has continued to be a blessing to the people of Sanchez Mira.
